If you haven't yet done so, I would suggest you add Darren's to the game blogs you should follow (Ben Frtiz is another you should read as well). Darren's writing is sharp, perceptive and entertaining.

Thanks to Darren for mentioning us. We'll probably have more to discuss with the release of Riddick, Wanted and Wheelman in the next couple of weeks, so be sure and check back.

Even more demos to whet your gaming appetite

Wheelman and Wanted: Weapons of Fate demos are also now available to download from Xbox Live as of today.

Riddick: Dark Athena Demo Out

You can download a demo of the new Riddick game today on Xbox Live. Be sure and check it out.

It's official: Wheelman to Ubisoft

The rumors were indeed true. Ubisoft and Midway have entered into an agreement that will see Ubisoft handle distribution and marketing of Wheelman. Looks like the release date will remain the same. There was some speculation that Ubisoft might try and market the game under the Driver series, but I don't see that happening. The game is strong and should be able to stand on its own. I think that a lot of GTA fans will be pleasantly surprised when they get their hands on Wheelman.

Wheelman goes from Midway to Ubisoft?

There are rumors floating around the intertubes right now that "Wheelman" may be moving from Midway to Ubisoft. We can't confirm anything on this end, other than to say we only hope for the best for all our friends at Midway. They're going through some tough times right now, but Flint and I have always enjoyed working with them and their personnel, both in development and management, are some of the best in the business.

The folks in Newcastle, and Vin's company Tigon, have put a tremendous amount of effort into the game, so regardless of what happens, our hope is that Wheelman gets the release it deserves. We'll keep you posted if we hear more.
